Sunshine Leisure Centre
Lift:
We wish to acknowledge that the lift at Sunshine Leisure Centre remains out of order. We have done everything possible to source replacement parts for this older lift model. Due to the scarcity of these parts, they will not arrive until late June. We appreciate your patience as we work through this.
Steam Room:
Temporary repairs have been completed, and a full refurbishment is planned within the next two months.
Sunshine Outdoor Pool Works:
We are currently conducting leak investigations, with future works planned to either repair/replace the pool liner or fully replace the pool shell. We are attempting to limit pool downtime as much as possible.
Ground Floor Gym Works – Stage 1:
Plans are underway to activate the ground floor gym space, creating a new and exciting group fitness room. This will lead to Stage 2, which involves expanding the upstairs gym area.
Treadmill Replacement:
We are excited to announce the replacement and upgrade of all treadmills. This will occur over the next few months.
Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre
Accessible Hoists in Change rooms:
Unfortunately the hoists in both Accessible Change rooms (next to warm water pool) are out of order due to damage to the charging points. A contractor has been engaged to undertake repairs and parts have been ordered. A regular maintenance plan is also being put in place to avoid the issue reoccuring in future. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Sauna:
Additional repairs have been made, including replacing the cedar wood. A reminder that using a towel in the sauna helps maintain the facility and keeps it open more consistently.
Signage:
Much of the signage has been completed across the centre with a few more signs to be installed in the coming weeks.
